The Digital Frontiers Media website is finally up and running! The framework is done and seems to run fairly bug free. A number of functions and tools were added to the site (available to clients and developers only; not visible to regular visitors) during its long first development phase making it not just a website but a powerful tool for those in the network. Features include content areas dynamically linked to client/developer upload areas and much more!
Developers are now being contacted regarding participation levels and content is being added to the galleries daily.
A number of changes are planned for version 2 of the site once things are rolling. Some changes include the elimination of the blocky text sections with dynamic Flash & effects drawing upon the current PHP-created text sections, re-theming of the background imagery colors, optimization of external CSS & javascript files, custom fonts in all sections through either SiFR or outright Flash replacement, and maybe even a sound or easter egg or two!
